TANNER CUP AND STARLING MATCH RACING TRIALS FOR PROVINCIAL REPRESENTATION

1.  P Class Trials will be held on 5-6 November 2011 at NPCL. Starling Match Racing Trials shall be held on 11-13 November 2011 at NPCL.

2. Racing Rules of Sailing 2009-2012. The Starling trials for sailors under 19 on the 31 January 2012 shall be organised by the CYA and governed by the ‘rules’ as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing 2009-2010. Starling Trials to be sailed under: “The Racing Rules of Sailing, Appendix C”.

3.  Entries close with the YDO, CYA: by 29 October 2011 Entry Fee $50.00

4.  Late entries may be accepted at the discretion of the Organising Committee on payment of an additional late fee of $30.00, provided measurement requirements are met.

5.  Starling Match Racing entries will be accepted only from boats which hold a valid “A”

Measurement Certificate.

6.  P Class must comply with the class rules to be eligible for entry to the Tanner Cup Trials. There will be no pre-trials measurement but boats will be subject to spot checks during the event

7.  Tanner Cup Trials consists of 9 races, Low-Point Scoring System, App. A

8.  Starling Match Racing Trials consist of a Round Robin followed by knock out Semifinals

and Finals.
